TS PGECET 2015 Counselling:- Counselling for the TS PGECET 2015 qualified students will start from August 3, 2015 with document verification while choice filling will be from August 7, 2015. The TS PGECET 2015 Counselling will be held in 2 phases and will start with document verification of the students before proceeding to choice filling, seat allotment and admissions. Candidates will be required to pay the counselling fee at the designated help line centres before being allowed to fill their choices for the Counselling of TS PGECET 2015. POSTPONEMENT OF EXERCISING WEB OPTIONS SCHEDULE AND EXTENDING LAST DATE OF CERTIFICATE VERIFICATION

  • All the candidates, who have registered for TSPGEC / TSPGECET-2015 counseling and completed Certificate Verification at the designated Help Line Centers (HLC) are hereby, informed that the schedule for Exercising Web Options i.e (from 07.08.2015 to 16.08.2015) has been postponed. The rescheduled dates will be announced once the final list of colleges included in Web Counseling is received.
  • The last date for Certificate Verification is extended to 14.08.2015. The candidates who could not get their Certificates Verified on their scheduled dates due to various reasons can get their Certificates Verified on these two days i.e 13.08.2015 and 14.08.2015 at any of the Help Line Centers. The candidates who could not get their special category (CAP, NCC, PH and Sports) certificates verified can do so on 13.08.2015 at PG College, Secunderabad.

COUNSELING SCHEDULE for TS PGECET-2015
From August 3, 2015 
1. Document Verification:
  • After the authorities announce the Document verification Schedule, candidates must report to the designated Help Centers for their document verification accordingly
  • The Document Verification for the GATE qualified candidates will be held first and the document verification for the TS PGECET 2015 qualified candidates will be held later
  • Document Verification will be held separately for the Special categories like NCC, CTS, Sports, PH.
  • All qualified Candidates have to furnish their original documents at the help centres and submit the Xerox copies of the same after completion of the document verification. The list of documents is given below.
  • Candidates who have qualified in more than 1 exam need attend the verification only once. They can submit the hall ticket details of the others to the verification officer.
  • The Registration will be as per their GATE/ TS PGECET 2015 Ranks obtained by the candidates
  • Candidates must pay the non-refundable processing fee of Rs 600 (Rs 300 for SC/ST/PH) and sign the attendance register after payment.
  • Document verification will be held only after payment of the counselling fees.
  • Candidates must register a mobile number at the time of Verification to enable the authorities to send SMS regarding the TS PGECET 2015 Counselling, Seat Allotment and other important information. A valid mobile no is therefore compulsory.
  • After successful registration, a One Time Password will be sent to the registered mobile number of the candidates.
  • Candidates will not be allowed change of mobile number after registration.
  • After completing the document verification, candidates must collect the Receipt of Certificates from the counter and  verify the details of their mobile number, caste category, local area, gender, minority, parental income, special category, date of birth, eligible degree, specialization and any other details printed on receipt of certificates.
  • Any discrepancy should be brought to the notice of Camp Officer / Co-ordinator immediately for corrections to get the corrections done.
Important:
  • Candidates must collect their Scratch card from Help Centers after completion of the document verification
  • The serial number and password contained in the Scratch Card are unique and must be kept secret and not disclosed to anyone including officials..
Documents to be furnished in original for TS PGECET 2015 Counselling:
Note: Candidates must also submit a set of Xerox copies to the officer after verification
  • SSC Certificate or its equivalent
  • All the Study certificates from Class X to Graduation
  • Degree Certificate & Memorandum of marks
  • TS PGECET 2015 Hall Ticket (only for TS PGECET 2015 candidates)
  • GATE Score Card ORTS PGECET 2015 Rank Card as applicable
  • Residence certificate as required
  • Integrated community certificate issued by the Mandal Revenue Officer [MRO]in case of BC/SC/ST candidates
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Income Certificate issued after 01/01/2015.
  • Note:  Tuition fee reimbursement will be as per the rules of respective state governments of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
  • verification fee Rs.400/- for SC/ST and Rs.800/- for General caste.
Applicants under the NCC, CTS, Sports and PH categories have to also submit the following documents:
PH Category:
  • Certificate issued by the District Medical Board
  • Only candidates who have disability of 40% and above are eligible
CTS Category: 
  • Ex-Servicemen have to produce:
  • Identity Card
  • Discharge Book for verification.
  • Service Certificate issued by Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer.
Serving persons have to produce:
  • Service Certificate from the place of Work indicating the relationship with the Candidate.
  • Only Candidates whose parents are domicile of Telangana/A.P. are eligible to be considered under “CTS” Category.
NCC Category:
  • Candidates have to produce concerned certificates along with A, B, C certificate(s)
TS PGECET 2015 Help Centers: will be updated once the details are announced
2. Web Option Entry: (Link will be announced later) from august 7, 2015
  • The Option form will display details of all the participating colleges based on gender and specialization
  • Two types of filters will minimize the selection list in Alphabetical order and District Wise
  • Candidates must add their preferences of colleges, courses in the order of their preference from  the given list
  • After completion of their Option Entry, candidates save and enter the password received by SMS on their mobile.
  • The password must be entered through the virtual key board available on the screen
  • After entering the password, they must click the Confirm button to save their options
  • Candidates must take a printout of their saved options in printed format to verify the colleges and their priority
  • After the last date for choice filling is over, the options registered in the server will be frozen automatically and shall be used for seat allotment
3. Seat Allotment:
  • Seat Allotment will be for the GATE qualified candidates followed by the TS PGECET 2015 candidates
  • The Seat Allotment will be on the basis of the options entered by the candidates and the GATE/TS PGECET 2015 Ranks.
  • The Seat Allotment results will be communicated through SMS message to the registered mobile number,
  • Candidates  must take a print of the provisional allotment order from the website
TS PGECET 2015 Counselling Phase 2:
  • The TS PGECET 2015 Counselling Phase 2 will be conducted for any vacant seats left after the Phase 1 Counselling.
  • Candidates must note that the options exercised for TS PGECET Counselling Phase 1 will not be considered for the 2nd phase.
  • Applicants must exercise fresh options for each phase of web based counseling if they are not satisfied with their phase 1 Seat Allotment
  • Colleges with no vacancies will also be considered on account of vacancies arising due to sliding, cancellation and conversions
  • Who should participate in TS PGECET 2015 Counselling Phase 2?
  • Candidates who could not secure a seat in the TS PGECET 2015 Counselling Phase 1
  • Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotted in the  Phase 1 of TS PGECET 2015 counselling
  • Candidates who did not participate in TS PGECET 2015 Counselling Phase in spite of being called for counseling
  • Candidates who did not report at the scheduled date and time after allotment
  • Candidates who were allotted a seat in the first phase but have cancelled their admissions.
