Karnataka Forest Department has released notification for the recruitment of meritorious sports persons for 125 Deputy Range Forest Officer, Forest Guard, Forest Watcher vacancies in various Circles/ Divisions of Karnataka. Eligible candidates may apply online from 20.07.2015 to 19.08.2015.

Age Limit: Candidates age should be between 18-30 years for SC/ ST, 18-28 years for Category-II (a), III (b), III (a), III (b), 18-25 years for Gen for post 1, 18-32 years for SC/ ST, 18-30 years for Category-II (a), III (b), III (a), III (b), 18-27 years for Gen for post 2, 18-33 years for SC/ ST, 18-32 years for Category-II (a), III (b), III (a), III (b), 18-30 years for Gen for post 3 as on 03.07.2015.
Educational Qualification: Candidates should possess Bachelor’s Degree with at least one of the subjects namely, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics & Zoology for post 1, passed II PUC for post 2, passed SSLC standard for post 3 with sports achievements.
Selection Process: Candidates will be selected based on written aptitude test, physical standard test, physical endurance test, physical efficiency test, written test, medical test.
Application Fee: Candidates have to pay Rs. 100/- + Service Charge Rs. 12/- for General and IIA, IIB, IIIA, IIIB category (Rs. 50/- + Service Charge Rs. 12/- for SC, ST, Cat-I) through online.
